On Thursday 13th December, the one and only Simon Rimmer will be hosting an exclusive Christmas party, and you’re invited. Following the success of last year’s collaboration with Village Point in Heaton Moor, the wonderful venue will be hosting the event once again. Whether you are going as a party of two or getting into the festive spirit as a group, this year’s party promises to be bigger and better than ever before!

Simon Rimmer is an English cook and restaurateur, best known for his on-screen partnership with Tim Lovejoy, where he co-hosted Something for the Weekend from 2006 until 2012. Simon opened thriving vegetarian restaurant Greens and has also published four cookery books. He continues to play a major role at Greens today; working in the kitchen, training new staff and creating dishes that he deems worthy of inclusion alongside beloved menu favourites. These include crispy oyster mushrooms and his famous Cheshire cheese and sage sausages.

What you can expect

You will be welcomed with a glass of spiced mulled wine and the sounds of a stunning choir. You’ll then be taken to your seat in the incredible Ballroom at Village Point and treated to a 3 course Christmas feast, cooked by Simon himself.Throughout the mealyou will be offered wine to accompany your food. If you enjoy a tipple, there will also be an extensivelystocked bar during the event for any other drink requirements.Following the meal, there will be a resident DJ to continue the party.

Please note the venue has round banqueting tables and you are purchasing a seat (or seats) at one of these tables. The minimum exclusive occupancy, if you’d like your own table, is 8 and the maximum on each table is 12. Once you have bought tickets email – simon@didsburycatering.co.uk – and let him know if you’d like an exclusive table. If you buy 8 or more seats we will assume that is the case. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
