Catalan chef Paco Perez will be opening Tast Cuina on King Street, Manchester from the 20th July 2018.

While Perez has created a menu that includes some of his favourite Catalan dishes, it is his protégé Miquel Villacrosa who is named as Tast’s Head Chef.

Originally working at his parent’s restaurant near Girona, before starting to work with Perez at his Miramar restaurant in Girona and Cinco, Berlin.

I consider myself an ambitious person and a passionate learner, who never gives up, who tries to be a good leader and to do things a bit better every day, as Paco has taught me. When he asked me to be head chef in Manchester it was a challenge I just had to accept.

– Head chef, Miquel Villacrosa

Tast is set to serve traditional Catalan dishes with a modern twist in a warm and friendly space.
